Photos of my Peak District perambulations…

The Peak District, in Derbyshire, is one of my favourite walking locations, especially on a warm, sunny day. In the last month, I have been on two major walks there, one near Dovedale, along the picturesque river, and the other above the village of Eyam, up on the moors. I also visited the old pub, named the Barrel Inn, which is the highest pub in Derbyshire, offering a grand panoramic view. I finally stopped off at the top of Padley Gorge, high above Grindleford, where I also encountered a curious cat. I’ve been a frequent visitor to the area, and can highly recommend it to lone walkers or families.
